When Dana began to manage and sell residential and residential investment properties in the mid 1980's computer and internet technologies were just beginning to take their first baby steps. He had to market and sell rentals and residential homes the old fashioned way using the scrapbook method of cut and paste to create custom flyers and postcards. He tthen hand addressed and mailed (or even hand delivered!) them to hundreds of potential clients. Correspondence meant handwritten or typed letters, personal phone calls, and face-to-face contact.
Dana quickly learned that these technique, although very time-consuming, were effective in creating traffic for his listings. He also knew they helped his sellers get the highest possible prices for their properties. What worked then still works now, but greater efficiency, computer technology and the internet have joined his arsenal of tools to create the maximum exposure for his clients in the new era of communications.
